Front-end development on a subscription intelligence platform serving the global textile industry.
WTiN publishes innovation intelligence for the textile industry, spanning articles, reports, patent databases, podcasts, webinars and virtual events, with more than a century of publishing behind it. Content at that volume creates a specific problem. Readers have to be able to find the one thing they need, subscribers have to hit the paywall in the right place, and none of it can feel like wading through an archive.
I worked on front-end delivery for the content-heavy areas of the platform. That covered article and insight layouts, the content hubs organised around fibres, digital textiles, smart textiles and patents, event and webinar promotion modules, and membership touchpoints.
The work was mostly about making a large editorial catalogue behave: filtering that stays usable as result counts grow, subscription gating placed so it converts rather than irritates, and reading experiences that hold up on a phone as well as on a desk.
